KeyDog provides a way to bring discrete inputs (or inputs from a switch matrix) into the USB or keyboard port on your PC. KeyDog also includes a watchdog timer that restarts your PC following lock-ups and that infamous "blue screen of death."

KeyDog has the following features:

• 24 inputs at 5VDC that can be programmed to provided any possible keyboard scan code
• 3 outputs at 5VDC for driving 10 ma loads
• 8 x 16 switch matrix option for handling a full 104 key keyboard
• Programmable to operate stand-alone (i.e. without a keyboard) or as a keyboard wedge (i.e. handling both discretes and keyboard input). For the USB version, this effectively makes KeyDog a PS/2 to USB converter.
• Programmable Watchdog Timer with a relay with normally open and normally closed contacts for resetting your PC (through either the motherboard reset switch or the power-supply "power-good" input). For volume orders, a custom version is available with a solid state relay.
• Watchdog restart time can be programmed from 10 ms to over 10 minutes.
• Supports either 5 VDC sourcing or ground sinking inputs
• On board LED provides a indication at power up for operational readiness
• PCB (3" x 4") can be mounted in a PCI slot or separately mounted on standoffs.
• PS/2 Versions (KD-1PS2R) and USB Versions (KD-1USBR) are available
